Yashma Gill (Urdu: یشما گل) is a Pakistani film and television actress. Gill played the lead roles in several television productions including Kab Mere Kehlaoge (2018) and Bebaak (2021-22), and received praise for playing an antagonist in the romantic series Pyar Ke Sadqay (2020).[1][2][3][4] In 2019, Gill has launched her own video YouTube channel.[5]

Personal life

Gill is from Kala Shah Kaku, Chicha Watani in Punjab, Pakistan.[6][7][4] She was an atheist till teenage but while studying in Australia, she converted to Islam.[8] In an interview with Samina Peerzada, she revealed her spiritual journey and how she reverted to Islam after a phase of being an atheist.[9] Gill studied psychology at the La Trobe University in Australia, and then returned to her home country.[10][11][12]
